1st Morningside meets on Friday evenings for both Cubs & Scouts

Our Scout Group Management Team consists of a crazy bunch of adults who still wish they were kids.

Richard is the "Bawse". As our Scout Group Leader, Richard is responsible for the Group as a whole. Richard is an avid camper and as an amateur fly-fisherman has only ever caught 2 fish (Thanks John). Richard can be reached at shearer.richard@gmail.com.

Rex makes things that go "Boom" and in his spare time, wrangles snakes, climbs mountains and builds awesome "Foofie" slides. We think Rex is kinda cool. So does Rex!

We think Irene teaches people how to deal with other people. We don't really know. Irene comes from a long line of Scouting heritage, with her son recently being awarded his Springbok Scout Badge.

Guy's claim to fame is that Lord Baden-Powell once stayed with his family (on their farm in Kenya) for a period of time when he was knee high to a tikkie. We think BP was his PL.....

Our "Akela" is awesome. With the ability to control marauding hordes of small humans with her mind, she manages our Cub Pack with ease. We have a rule. If a Cub grows taller than Akela, it's time to go up to Scouts.....
