Our Annual Fees

The Annual Subscription Fees at 1st Morningside for 2024 support our Scout Group by funding us. Our subscriptions pay for items like hall rental, water & lights, insurance and general maintenance. As our Adult Leaders are all volunteers, we have no salaried employees.

Annual Capitation

An Annual Capitation Fee of R 500 per child

Invoiced once your child has been invested and cannot be prorated for the year

Annual Group Fee

An Annual Group Fee of R 2700 per child

Invoiced once your child has been invested and will be prorated for the year

Investment Fee

A Once Off Investment Fee of R 150

Payable before your child has been invested

Total Annual Fee

An Annual Fee of R 3200 per child

Payable before End February 2024

1st Morningside Annual Fees For 2024

The 1st Morningside Annual Subscription Fees are R 3200 per child. These fees are payable, in full, before the end of February 2024

These fees can be prorated as follows:

  • Capitation Fee
    • This fee cannot be prorated
  • Group Annual Fee
    • This fee can be prorated as follows:
      • If your child is invested in the first quarter of our financial year, 100%
      • If your child is invested in the second quarter of our financial year, 75%
      • If your child is invested in the third quarter of our financial year, 50%
      • If your child is invested in the fourth quarter of our financial year, 25%
      Our financial year runs from October to September
  • Investment Fee
    • This fee cannot be prorated
